HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 06-R48E RESOLUTION NO. 06-R48 A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE FOOTHILL CENTER MIXED USE PROJECT, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF ALOSTA AVENUE AND CITRUS AVENUE WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa, has given notice thereof as required by law and held a public hearing on the application of Trachman/Indevco, LLC and Jar University Commons, LLC with respect to the requested Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Foothill Center Mixed Use Project, located at the southwest corner of Alosta Avenue and Citrus Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Governing Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Azusa has carefully considered all pertinent testimony and the staff report offered in the case as presented at the public hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: In accordance with City of Azusa Municipal Code Section 88.50.080 and based on the staff report and other such written and oral evidence as presented to the Governing Board of the Redevelopment Agency regarding the Mitigated Negative Declaration, the Governing Board of the Redevelopment Agency finds and determines that: (a) Although the proposed project could have a significant effect on the environment, there will not be a significant effect in this case because revisions in the project have been made or agreed to by the project applicant. Mitigation Measures for aesthetics, hazards and hazardous materials, noise and air quality have been included in the Conditions of Approval. Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. Section 3. The Chairperson shall sign this Resolution and the Agency Secretary shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption of this Resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of December, 2006.
