The Board of Trustees of the City
of Azusa met in regular adjourned
session at the above time and place.
Present at roll call. Trustees:
Howard, Beck, Meier, Chenoweth,
Durrell, City Clerk. Absent: City
Attorney.
Moved by Trustee Howard, -seconded by
Trustee Beck that the printing of
ordinances, resolutions etc. be given
to the Azusa Herald for six months,
providing that the price is the same
as the price now paid to the Pomotropic
and provided the Herald Company are
legally qualified to print the same.
Carried by the following vote of the
Board:
Ayes: Trustees: Howard, Beck, bleier,
Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by
Trustee Howard and carried that Mr.
McDonald be permitted to move a
chicken house from No. Azusa Avenue
to First Street.
Moved and carried that the
printing of ordinances
etc. be given to the Herald
newspaper providing the
price is the same as the
Pomotropic.
Mr. McDonald given per-
mission to move a hen house
Moved by Trustee,Beck, seconded by
Trustee Chenoweth and unanimously
carried that a resolution entitled
A RESOLUTION OF TIME BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING, CALLING
AND PROVIDING FOR AND GIVING NOTICE OF
A.SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID
CITY ON TUESDAY TIM 28TH DAY OF JUN ,
RESOLUTION NO. 987

1927, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO
ADOPTED.
THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF' SAID CITY THE
QUESTION WHETHER OR NOT CHARLES w. BECK
SHALL BE RECALLED FROM TIE OFFICE OF
TRUSTEE OF THE CI^1Y OF AZUSA; PROVIDING
FOR AND DESIGNATING AN ELECTION PRECINC^1;
DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACE; APPOINT-
ING ELECTION OFFICIALS; AND AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF ELECTION SUPPLIES FOR
SAID ELECTION.

The President of the Board then asked if
any personspresent desired to be heard in
the matter. Mr. L. L. Liversidge addressed
the Board making objection to the slope of
the curb at Eleventh Street and Sunset
Avenue. Moved. by Trustee Iioward, seconded
Trustee Mc ier and dul- carried that further
consideration of the protest of L. L. Liversid.Fe

Moved by Trustee Hmferd, seconded by
Trustee Chenoweth and carried that the
further consideration of the bids for
the improvement of Alameda Avenue be
continued until 8:30 o'clock A. M.,
May 21, 1927.
Moved by Trustee Howard, seconded by
Trustee Chenoweth and unanimously
carried that a resolution entitled:

Trustee Beck that this resollition be

Absent: None.
Miss Jamieson addressed the Board with
regard to the condition of the cellar
in her home. The Board agreed to visit
the cellar on Saturday, May 21st to see
what could be done.
Moved by Trustee Chenoweth, seconded
by Trustee Beck and carried that the
Board do now adjourn to meet on May
21, 1927 at 8:30 A. M.
