HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - June 6, 1927 - CCCITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. MONDAY, JUNE 61 1927. 7:30 P. M. 3.5 Present at roll call. Trustees: Howard, Beck, Cheno-reth, Durrell, City attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Trustee: Meier. The minutes of the last regular meeting of May 16th and of the ' adjourned meetings of May 20th and 21st were read and approved as read. A letter re§ard.ing Automotile "Stop Signs' on Azusa Avenue was read, and on motion by City Attorney instructed Trustee Beck, seconded by Trustee to amend Ordinance on Chenoweth the City Attorney was Stop Signs. instructed to amend Ordinance I so that there should be stop signs on all streets leading into Azusa Avenue from First Street to Eleventh Street with the exception of the Foothill Boulevard. Carried by the following vote of the Board: Ayes: Trustees: Howard, Beck, Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: Meier. Moved by Trustee Beck, seconded by `trustee Howard and carried that Officer 0. M. Martin the request of Police Officer, 0. M. granted vacation with ' Martin for a two weeks vacation from pay. June 10th. to June 24th, 1927 be grant- ed with pay. Trustee Beek moved and Trustee Cheno- weth seconded a motion that the re- quest of i;ir. C. V. Sbowslter for 'Mr. Showalter granted permission to cut the curb at 513 permission to cut curb. Pasadena Avenuo re granted. Carried by the'followin� vote of the Board: Ayes: Trustees: Howard, Beck, Cheno- weth, Durrell. Noes: None. Absent: Trustee: I+ieier. Moved by Trustee 3eck, seconded by Trustee Chenoweth and carried that the reeuest of A. L. Meier for a A. L. A letter was read from Walter A.
