The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
Martin, Meier, Chenoweth, Durrell,
City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent:
Councilman: Howard.
The Minutes of the Last regular meeting
of September 6th and of the adjourned
' meeting of September 12, 1927 were read
and approved as read.
The request of Mr. and Mrs Barker to
continue their tent meeting on Alameda
Street until Sunday evening, September
25th was, on motion by Councilman
Chenoweth, seconded by Councilman Meier
and duly carried, granted.
The request of Harry R. Middaugh to cut
the curb for entrance to oil station at
the corner of Dalton and the Foothill
Boulevard was on motion by Councilman
Chenoweth, seconded by Councilman Martin
and duly carried, granted. The work to
be done under the supervision of the
Street Superintendent.
Moved by Councilman Meier, seconded by
Councilman Martin and unanimously carried
that a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, CALIDORNIA, PROVIDING FOR
' THE TRANSFER OF BVO THOUSAND (.52000.00)
DOLLARS FROM THE ELECTRIC LIGHT FUND AND
TWO THOUSAND ($2000.00) DOLLARS FROIv? THE
!'LATER FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND.

by Councilman Meier that this resolution

The City Clerk reported that he had received
two bids for the Ornamental Lights on Alameda,
Dalton and Santa Fe Avenues in the City of
Azusa.
The Mayor then ordered the bids to be opened,
examined and publicly declared.
Mr. and Mrs Barker
given permission to
continue meetings
until Sunday evening.
Harry R. Middaugh given
permission to cut curb.

had received two bids
for ornamental lights on
Alameda, Santa Fe and
Dalton Avenues.

In compliance with the annexed notice inviting sealed proposals,
I hereby propose and agree to perform the work and improvement des-
cribed in Resolution of Intention No. 1011, which provides for the
furnishing and installing of
70 - King Ferronite Standards, transformer, wires, cables,
conduits, lamps and all other necessary appliances as shown
on the plans, and to execute the contract therefor to the
satisfaction and under the supervision of the City Engineer
or Street Superintendent of said City, at the following
lumpsum id: Eleven thousand three hundred seventy-three
dollars (11,373.00).

Councilman Meier, seconded by Council-
man Chenoweth, that the contract for the
building of the Azusa City Hall be award- H. F. Jones

dition that, in the event of any of said
omitted articles being later constructed
by the City, such article or articles
shall be included as an extra or extras

those contained in the bid; it being under-
stood that said proviso shall be incorporat-
ed in the contract of said H. F. Jones, and that
his said contract shall also provide for the
construction of a concrete slab roof at the
price of One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00) ad-
ditional and that all other bids be rejected.
