HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - April 6, 1928 - CCCITY HALL, AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 1928. 7:30 P.M. 267 The City Council met in adjourned time and place. of the City of Azusa session at the above Present at roll call: Councilmen: Howard, Meier, Chenoweth, Durrell, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman: Martin. A representative of the firm of the Usona Iron Company was present and addressed the Council on the matter ' of signs to notify the public the location of the various offices in the new City Hall Building. Moved by Councilman Chenoweth, seconded by Councilman Meier that this matter be laid on the table. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilman: Howard, Meier, C henov,eth, Durrell. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman: Martin. Moved by Councilman Meier, seconded by Councilman Chenoweth that the offer of the Marbelite Company to donate six poles without cost to the City for lighting the outside of the City Hall be accepted with thanks. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: How, -rd, Meier, Chenoweth, Durrell. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman: Martin. Moved by Councilman Meier, seconded by ' Councilman Chenoweth that the Council adjourn. Matter of signs for offices in new City Hall laid on table. Donation of six boles for new City Hall accepted.
