THURSDFY. 7:30 P.M The City Council of the City of Azusa met inu diourned session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Demmitt, Stone, Smith, Dill-ey, Howard, City Clerk. Absent: City Attorney. The City Clerk reported t.bat he had re- ceived four (4) bids for a new pump at the City well. Moved by Councilman Snith, seconded by Councilman Dilley and carried thnt the bids be now opened, examined and publicly declared: PACIFIC PU14P COMPANY 3051 City Clerk received four bids for new pump; Bid on new pump - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 8.$3,019.00 Alternate Bid - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 3,540.1110 ULMER MACHr1\TE�;Y CORPORr^_TION. The Mayor introduced the matter of awnrlding the contract for the puTrn to be purchased for the City Well. G.Wheatley, President of the Woman's Club with regard to the Fire Insurance on the present Club House. Moved by Councilman Demmitt, seconded by Council- man Dilley that the City not take over the same. Moved by Councilman Smith, seconded by Councilman Demmitt that, whereas, in the judge- ment of the City Council the Azusa Woman's Club House located on prone-ty owned by the City of Azusa is worth at least 73500.00 allowing for depreciation, that the Board of Public Viorks be instructed to see to the insuring of the same for $2500.00. Carried by the following vote of the Council; Ayes: Councilmen: Demmitt, Stone, Smith, Dilley, Howard. Noes: None. Absent: None.
