TUESDAY, JULIE 269 1928. 7:30 P.M.39 The City Council of the City of Azusa met in special session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen Stone, Smith, Howard. Absent: Councilmen Demmitt, Dilley and City Attorney. The City Attorney and C ouncilman Demmitt entered the Council Chamber during the read- ing of the Notice Calling Special Meeting, and took their seats. June 26, 1928. NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING I hereby call a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Azusa, to meet at the Council Chamber on Tuesday, the 26th day of June, 1928 at 7:30 P.M. of said day. The object of this meeting is to consider the matter of advertising for bids for the furnishing of the auditorium in the new City Hall Building and the resignation of C. L. Nichols, City Egnineer. HOWARD I hereby certify that I received the attached Notice of Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Azusa at 2:00 o'clock on Tuesday, the 26th day of June, 1928, and that I served the same on the hereinafter named persons, who are members of the City Council of the City of Azusa at the time set after their respective names by personally delivering to and leaving with said persons a true copy of the attached Notice of Special Meeting. Davis, Inc. for a 3/4 ton truck shouldbe paid one-half down and one-half in thirty days instead of $200.00 down, $200.00 in thirty days, balance in sixty days. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Demmitt, Stone, Smith, Howard. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman: Dilley. Moved by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Demmitt that the resignation of City Engineer Nichols be accepted. Ayes; Councilmen: Demmitt, Stone, Smith, Howard. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman: Dilley. Truck to be paid for one-half down and one- half in thirty days. Resignation of City Engineer, C. L. Nichols, accepted. 340 J CITY HALL, MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD JUNE 26, 1928. 7:30 841 Moved by Councilman Demmitt, seconded by Councilman Stone and duly carried that specifications as offered Marked "A" constitute specifications on which bids for curtain and railing for auditorium be received. Specifications as offered marked "B" constitute specifications on which bids for Linoleum be reaceived. Specifications as offered marked "C" constitute specifications on which bids for water proofing be received Specifications as offered marked "D" constitute specifications on which bids for chairs be received. Specifications as offered marked "E" constitute specifications on which bids for chairs be received. Specifications as offered marked "F" constitute specifications on which bids for clear flax be received. Specifications as offered marked "G" constitute specifications on which bids for cork linoleum be received. After several engineers had addressed the Council it was moved by Councilman Demmitt, seconded by Councilman Smith and duly carried that the Council adjourn.
