A communication from J. McDonald
in regard to his opening a billiard
hall in Azusa was placed on filed.
The City Clerk reported that he had
received two bids for City Printing,
one from the Azusa Herald and one
from the Azusa Journal.
Moved by Councilman Johnson, second-
ed by Councilman Muehe that these
bids be now opened, examined and pub-
licly declared.

Gentlemen:
We will furnish to the City of Azusa its legal printing
for the year, 1929, including the printing of all ordinances,
resolutions; notices, delinquent tax lists, assessment notices
and notices of advertising of whatever kind or nature that may be
required by any official board or the City Council, in The Azusa
Journal, a legal newspaper located in the City of Azusa, all in
accordance with the plans and specifications as published by the
City Clerk, at the rate of Twenty-five (25) cents per inch for
each insertion, and will. furnish such affidavits and duplicate
statements as may be demanded.

After the bids were opened, it was
moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by
Councilman Johnson and duly carried that
they be referred to the Finance Committee
for checking to be rerorted on at the
next meeting.
A letter from A. B. Ingram regarding the
hauling of garbage was ordered placed on
file.
The matter of the widening of the Foot-
hill Boulevard from the westerly City
limits to the Santa Fe tracks being in-
torduced, it was moved by Councilman
Muehe, seconded by Councilman Johnson
and duly carried that the Board of
Public Works have a consultation with
the Azusa Foothill Citrus Company and
report back at the next regular meeting.
