Wr*•*six*�..*te*.*»}+++�,*� The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do ordain as follows: SECTION 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 194 of the City of Azusa entitled, "An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa Providing for the Regulation of the Electric System of said City and Establishing the Rates for Electric Service by said City and Repealing Ordinance No. 185 in Relation Thereto", adopted December 16, 1918, be, and the same is hereby amended to read As follows: Section 1: The monthly rates to be charged and collect- ed by the City of. Azusa for electricity supplied from its electric system to consumers shall be as follows: Schedule No. 1: DOMESTIC AND COP21ERCIAL LIGHTING RATE: For the first 12 kilowatt hours or less consumed in any one month, $1.00. For more than 12 kilowatt hours consumed in any one month, as follows: For the first 50 kilowatt hours, 8 cents per kilowatt hour. For the next 50 kilowatt hours, 7 cents per kilowatt hour. For energy in excess of. 300 kilowatt hours per month, 4-1/2 cents per kilowatt hour. Schedule No. 2. 00"I INED LIGHTING, HEATING AND COOKING PATE: For all eoneumption of electric energy in residences an apartments, through one meter, where an electric range, electric water heater or an electric air heater of one kilowatt or more capacity is installed and used for cooking and heating purposes, the following rates shall apply: For the first 30 kilowatt hours consumed in any one mont 8 cents per kilowatt hour. For the next 100 kilowatt hours, 4--1/2 cents per ki.lowat hour. For energy in excess of 130 kilowatt hours per month 2.7 cents per kilowatt hour. The minimum monthly charge under this schedule shall be $2.50. Schedule No. 3. GE70M POWER, ?diTE: Applicable to all power condoners. For the first 100 kiiowatt hours consumed in any one month, 6-1/2 cents per kilowatt hour. For the next 100 kilowatt hours, 5-•1/2 cents per kilowatt hour. For the next 300 kilowatt hours, 4 cents per kilowatt hour. For the next 500 kilowatt hours, 3-1/2 cents per kilo- watt hour. For the next 4,000 kilowatt hours, 2.7 cents per kilo- watt hour. For the next 10,000 kilowatt hours, 2.4 cents nor kilowatt hour. For all energy in excess of 20,000 kilowatt hours per month, 2.2 cents per kilowatt hour. The above rates shall. apply for energy furnished at 110, 220, 440 volts. Minimum monthly charge for installations of 5 horse power or less, $2.00 per month. For installations of over 5 horse power a minimum charge of 50 cents per horse power per month shall be made. \ For energy furnished at 2200 volts, for installations of 50 horse power or over, the above rates shall apply, less one half of one mill ($0.0005) per kilowatt hour, for all enerenj used. Schedule No. 4. MUNICIPAL LIGHTING SFTVICE. Applicable to all Municipal lighting purposes. 5 cents per kilowatt hour for all energy consumed for lighting purposes. SECTION 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and its approval by the President of §aid Board, and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper, published and circulated oin.said City of. Azusa, and thereupon and thereafter the same shal be in full force and effect.
