The City Council of the City of
Azusa met in regular adjourned
session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
Mace, Muehe, Meier, City Attorney
and City Clerk. Absent: Councilmen:
Demmitt and Johnson.
Councilman Johnson later entered and
took his seat.
' A communication from the City Clerk of
Pomona was read.
Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded Ly
Councilman Johnson and duly carried that
the City of Pomona be granted permission
to suspend a banner across the highway.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by
Councilman Johnson and unanimously car-
ried that an ordinance entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA DESIGNATING THE NAMES BY
WHICH CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS SHALL BE KNO?°Ai
AND CALLED AND CHANGING THE NAIVIIE OF A CERTAIN
Moved by Councilman P;fuehe and unanimously
carried that a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA APPOINTIN A TINE AND PLACE
FOR HEARING PROTESTS IN RELATION TO THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEI^?ENTS COIF?TEIIIPLATED BY
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1141 OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF SAID CITY, PASSED ON JUNE
3RD, 1929.

THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS (5$3000) FROUI THE
ELECTRIC LIGHT FUND AND THREE THOUSAND DOL-
LARS (?$3000) FROM THE WATER FUND TO THE
GENERAL FUND.
