AD ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA AIn3NDING SECTION 20, OB' ORDINANCE N0. 191 OF THE SAID CITY OF AZUSA ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF AZUSA LICENSING AND REGULATING CERTAIN KINDS OF BUSINESS CARRIED OId IN SAID CITY ETC", ADOPTED MAY 27, 1918. The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 20 of Ordinance No. 191 of the City of Azusa entitled: "An Ordinance of the Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa, licensing and regulating certain kinds of business carried on in said City and fixing a penalty for the violation thereof and repealing Ordinances No. 130 and 180 of said City and all other Ordinances and parts of Ordinances of said City in conflict herewith", adopted May 27, 1918, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: SECTION 20. For every person in the City of Azusa running any cart, dray, express wagon, automobile or vehicle for the transportation or delivery of freight or goods for hire, a quarterly license for each cart, drab, express wagon, auto- mobile or other vehicle in accordance with the* following schedule: For each automobile truck not to exceed 2 tons capacity, 6p3.00. For each automobile truck exceeding 2 tons capacity and not exceeding 4 tons capacity, $4.00. For each automobile truck exceeding 4 tons capacity $6.00. For each horse-drawn vehicle 'so engaged, $4.00 per annum. SECTIOD 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and its approval by the President of said Board, and shallcause the same to be published by one insertion in The Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, published and circula- ted in the said City of Azusa, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
