AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF

AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. OF SAID CITY ENTITLED: "AN

ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TIM CITY OF AZUSA ESTABLISH

ING THE RATES FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE FOR SAID CITY FOR: (1) DOMES -

TIC AND COMMERCIAL LIGHTING RATE; (2) COMBINED LIGHTING, HEATING

AND COOKING RATE; (3) GENERAL POWER RATE,'AND REPEALING ALL OR -

DINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY IN CONFLICT HERE -

WITH", adopts 1924, BY AMENDING SECTION I, OF

SAID ORDINANCE IN RELATI N TO RATES FOR DOMESTIC AND COMMERCIAL

LIGHTING RATE, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF OR -

DINANCES OF SAID CITY IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.

eral power rate, and repealing all Ordinances or portions of Or -

1924, be and the same is hereby amended to read as f ollbws:

SECTION I. The monthly rates to be charged and col -
24
lected by the City of Azusa for electricity supplied from
its electric system to consumers shall be as follows:

Schedule No. 1. DOMESTIC AND COMvERCIAL LIGHTING RATE.

For the first 12 kilowatt hours or less consumed in
27
any one month, $1.00.
For more than 12 kilowatt hours consumed in any one
28
month as follows:
For the first 50 kilowatt hours. 8� per kilowatt hour.

- For the neat 60 kilowatt hours, 7¢ per kilowatt hour.
For the next 100 kilowatt hours. 6*� per kilowatt hoar.

For the next 100 kilowatt hours, 5-j¢ per kilowatt hour.
For energy in excess of 300 kilowatt hours per month,

4*¢ per kilowatt hour.

For all consumption of electric energy in residences
and apartments, through one meter, where an electric range,
electric water heater, or an electric air heater of one
kilowatt or more capacity is installed and used for cooking
and heating purposes, the following rates shall apply:
For the first 25 kilowatt hours consumed in any one
month 6.5 cents per kilowatt hoar.
For the next 125 kilowatt hours, 3.5 cents per kilo-
watt hour.
For all energy in excess of 150 kilowatt hours per
month, 2.4 cents per kilowatt hour.
The minimum monthly charge under this schedule shall
be $2.00.
Schedule No, 3. GENERAL POWER HATE:
Applicable to all power consumers.
For the first 100 kilowatt hours consumed in any one
month, 4.4 cents per kilowatt hour.
For the next 200 kilowatt hours 4.0 cents per kilo-
watt hour.
For the next 200 kilowatt hours, 3.6 cents per kilo-
watt hour.
For the next 500 kilowatt hours, 2.7 cents per kilo-
watt hour.
For the next 4000 kilowatt hours, 1.7 odnts per kilo-
watt hour.
For the next 5000 kilowatt hours, 1.6 cents per kilo-
watt hour.
For the next 10,000 kilowatt hours, 1.5 cents per
kilowatt hour.
For all energy in excess of 20,000 kilowatt hours per
month, 1.4 cents per kilowatt hour.
The above rates shall apply for energy furnished at
1100 220 and 440 volts.
Minimum monthly charge for installations of 5 horse
power or less, 02.00 per month. For installations of over
5 horse power a minimum charge of 50 cents per horse power
per month shall be made.
For energy furnished at 2200 volts, for installations
of 50 horse power or over. the above rates shall apply. less
one half of one mill (00,0005) per kilowatt hour, for all
energy used.
SECTION II. All ordinanese or parts of ordinances in
conflict with this ordinam a shall be, and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION III, The City Clerk shall certify to the pas-
sage of this Ordinance and its approval by the President of said
Board of Trustees, and shall cause the same to be published by
one insertion in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper, published
and circulated in said City of Azusa, and thereupon and there -
