PF,NALTY FOR Tlir, VIOLATION THEREOF: The Board of Trustees of the City of Azusa do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. No vehicle or any kind or character shall be parked or left standing upon any public street, alley or highway of the City of Azusa at any time during the hours from two o'clock A. M. , to six O'clock A. hd. , of anti day. SECTION 2. Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a mis- demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding the sum of w500.00 or imprisonment in the City Jail or in the County Jail of Los Angeles County not exceeding ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3. This Ordinance is urgently required for the immediate preservation of the public pace and safety. The fol- lowing is a specific statement showing the urgency of this Or- dinance: That an increased number of thefts, together with a marked increase of lawlessness in which automobiles have been a prominent factor, have been and are occurring and such an ordin- ance is now immediately required. SECTION 4. The City Clerk. shall. certify to the passage of this Ordinance by a vote of four-fifths of the members of the Board of Trustees of said City of Azusa, and its approval by the President of said Board, and shall cause the same to be published by one insertion in the Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the said City of Azusa, and thereupon and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect on and after the g?H day of January, 1926.
