The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular adjourned session at the
above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Johnson,
Muehe, bleier, City Attorney and City Clerk.
Absent: Councilmen: Demmitt and Mace.
This being the time fixed for opening bids for certain
work on Foothill Boulevard and certain portions of other streets and
avenues within the City of Azusa, as contemplated by Resolution of
Intention No. 1158, passed by this City Council on the 5th day of
August, 1929.
t The Council in open session publicly opened, examined and
declared all sealed bids received for said work at the prices
specificed in the proposals submitted and on file, at the following
total prices, to -wit:
Geo. H. Oswald - - - - - - - - - - - :251,919.57
Hall -Johnson Company - - - - - - - - 282,862.90
Osborne Company - - - - - - - - - - 250,005.40
Griffith Company - - - - - - - - - - 241,265.50
L. A. Paving Company - - - - - - - - 254,075.00
Geo. R. Curtis Paving Company - - - 258,064.44
Councilman Muehe introduced the following Resolution:
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Azusa awarding the
contract for certain tivork on Foothill Boulevard and certain portions
of other streets and avenues with said City".
Councilman Johnson moved the adoption of said Resolution, which
was seconded bl: Councilman Pduehe and carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, Dluehe, Meier.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilmen: Demmitt, Mace.
Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded
by Councilman Pnuehe and duly carried
that the Council adjourn to meet Thursday,
September 5, 1929 at 10:00 A.M.
