SEPTEMBER 16, 1929. 7:30 P.M. 135 The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Muehe, Meier. City Attorney ani' City Clerk. Absent: Councilmen: Demmitt and Johnson. The minutes of the last regular meet: ing of September 3rd of the adjourned session of September4th, 5th, 6th and ' the Public meeting of September 10, 1929 were read and approved as read. The application of J. R. Pinkst:ff for Janitor given vacation. a two weeks vacation beginning October 1st was read. Idoved by Councilman Mubhe, seconded by Councilman Mace that Mr. Pinkstaff's vacation be granted with pay. - Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Council -men: Johnson and Demmitt. The City Clerk announced that she had received seven papers of Notice of City Clerk announced that Objections to Faulty Proceedings, with she had received 78 seventy-eight signatures attached there- signatures in protest of to. ADOPTED. be read. This resolution was then read. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman Mace that this resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1177. Moved by Councilman Muehe and unanimously carried that an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISH- MENT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALTFORTTh, OF FOUR ZONES, CONSISTING OF VV2IOUS DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBIN& THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS IN SAID SEVERAL ZONES"AND-THE USES THEREOF AND ESTABLISHING REQUIRED OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION OF SAID BUILDINGS AND DEFINING THE TERMS USED THEREIN AND PRESCRIBING TIE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS THEREOF.
