The City Council of the City of
Azusa met in regular adjourned
session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
Johnson, Muehe, Meier, City Clerk.
Absent: Councilmen: Demmitt, Mace
and City Attorney.
Councilman Iutace entered the meeting
and took his seat.

IN THE MATTER OF THE PORPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF
CONEY AVENUE AND CERTAIN PORTIONS OF OTHER
STREETS AND AVENUES ITI THE CITY OF AZUSA,
CAL IFORIdIA.
The Clerk called the attention of the City Council
to the fact that Resolution of Intention No. 1174, in the matter
of the proposed improvement of Coney Avenue and certain portions
of other streets and avenues in the City of Azusa, had been
regularly published and that the notices required by laru have been
given, and that this hour, 7:30 o'clock, P.1, -T. in the Council
Chamber of the Cit-
y Council in the City Hall- of the City of Azusa
was the time and place set for hearing objections.
The Mayor then inquired if any written objections had
been filed with the clerk. She reported that no written protests or
objections had been filed.
Councilman Johnson introduced a resolution entitled,
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Azusa ordering
the improvement of Coney Avenue and certain portions of other
streets and avenues within said City." Councilman Dluehe moved
its adoption, which was seconded by Councilman Mace and upon
roll call the said resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, Mace, IVluehe, IvIeier.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman: Demmitt.
Councilman Mace introduced a resolution entitled,
"A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Azusa directing
certain work or improvement, as contemplated by Resolution
of Intention No. 1174, to be done under the direction of the City
Engineer of said Cite." Councilman Muehe moved the adoption which
was seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon roll call the said
Resolution was adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, Mace, Muehe, Meier.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman: Demmitt.
A communication from the United states
Department of the Interior was read.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by
Councilman Johnson that same be refer-
red to the Council as a Committee of
the Whole.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilman: Johnson, Mace, Muehe, Meier.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman: Demmitt.
The City Attorney entered the meeting
and took his seat.
Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by
Councilman P,Iace that the following bills
be allowed and warrants drawn upon the
Treasury for the same.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, Mace, iyiuehe, Meier.
Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman: Demmitt.
Communication from
Department of the
Interior referred to
Council as Committee
of the Whole.
