AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 294
OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE ESTABLISHI9ENT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA,
OF FOUR ZONES, CONSISTING OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS AND PRE-
SCRIBING THE CLASSES OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND IM-
PROVEPIIENTS IN SAID SEVERAL ZONES AND THE USES THEREOF,
AND PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE PRO-
VISIONS THEREOF" ADOPTED AUGUST 3, 1931, AND BY ADDING
THERETO A NEW SECTION TO BE ENTITLED SECTION 7 - B.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as
follows: -
Section I,- That Section 7 of Ordinance
No. 294 entitled "An Ordinance providing
for the establishment in the City of Azusa,
California, of four zones, consisting of
various districts and prescribing the
classes of ouildings, structures and im-
provements in said several zones and the
uses thereof, and prescribing the penalty
for violation of the provisions thereof"
adopted August 3, 1931, be and the same
is hereby amended by adding thereto a new
sub -section to be Sub -Section 7-B and to
read as follows: -
7 -B:- That all of the territory
described as the Westerly half of
Lot 45 in Subdivision No. 2 Azusa
Land and Water Company and all of
Lot 31 in Subdivision No. 2 Azusa
Land and hater Company, as per map
recorded in Book 43 page 94 of
Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California, be and the same
is hereby excepted from Zone R-4
and is placed in, designated and
constituted Zone 1.4-3, and shall be
shaded, designated and classified
in the IIIap of City of.,Azusa ..4e, �
Designating Various Zones Described
in Ordinance No. 294, and in said
Ordinance No. 294,so as to show
that the said property is Zone M-3
Heavy Industrial Property and not
Zone R-4 Residence Property and
that, commencing with the effective
date of this amendment of said
Ordinance No.294 and of the Zone Map
accompanying the same and hereinbefore
mentioned,the said property herein des-
cribed shall be and the same is hereby
designated, designed, classified and
intended as comprising and consisting
of a Zone III -3 Heavy Industrial
District.

Section 2:- The Mayor shall sign this
Ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest
and certify to the passage, adoption and
publication of the same and shall cause
the some to be published once, within
fifteen days after its passage, in the
Azusa Herald and Pomotropic, a weekly
newspaper of general circulation published
and circulated in said City which said
newspaper is hereby designated for that
purpose, and thereupon and thereafter
thirty days after its passage said
Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force.

I HEREBY CRRTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of AzyysZat a regular meeting duly and regularly
held on the (o —day o£ 1936 in the
regular Council Chambers in s 'd City of -`ansa, Los Angeles
County, California; that said Ordinance was regularly
passed and adopted by said City Council, signed by the
Mayor and attested by the Clerk of said City at a regular
meeting of said Council so held in the regular Council
Chambers on the o P-, day o 19360
and that the same was passed and ado ted by the following
vote: -

and that I caused said Ordinance to be published on the -23
