HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 380ORDINANCE NUMBER 3PO AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE, CLOSE UP AND ABANDON FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES ALL STREETS AND ALLEYS LOCATED IN TRACT NUMBER 10713 IN THE CITY OF AZUSA AS ! PER MAP RECORDED IN BOOK 168, PAGES 39 & 40 3 OF MAP RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY CALIFORNIA The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows: SECTION I. 'It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Azusa to order all streets and alleys in Tract Number 10713 in the City of Azusa as per Map recorded in Book 168, Pages 39 and 40 of Map Records of Los Angeles County, to be closed, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes. The said streets and alleys to be closed, vacated and abandoned for public street purposes are commonly known'and described as follows: Those portions of Aspen Avenue, Georgia Avenue, Virginai Avenue, Barbara Avenue, Eighth Street, located and being in said Tract Number 10713 and also all alleys within said Tract Number 10713 and which said streets and alleys are shown on a Map dated August 30, 1945,on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Azusa, and all parties interested are referred for particulars as to the proposed vacation to said Map. SECTION II That Monday , the 15th day of October, 1945, at 7:30 P.M. of said date at the regular Council chambers in the City Auditorium in said City of Azusa is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the purposed vacation, closing and abandonment of said streets and alleys. The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk shall attest same and certify to the adoption and passage and publication thereof and shall cause the same to be published once within fifteen days after its passage in the kausa Herald and Pomotropic, a weekly newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said City of Azusa, which said newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose and hence- forth and thereafter this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect.
