order.
Moved by Councilman I.Iace, seconded by
Councilman Johnson that C^uncilman

The minutes of the last regular meet-
ing of December 16, 1929 were read
and approved as read.
A communication from L. Case was read.
Moved by Councilman Johnson,.Seconded
by Councilman !dace that the City Clerk
be authorized to instruct the City
Treasurer to transfer ;16.02 from the
Tax Fund to the General Fund, also to
dravi a warrant on the General Fund in
favor of Mr. Case for x16.02. This
procedure being necessary to correct
an error on Lir. Case's 1929-30 tax
bill where he is ossess-d wit', $1000.00
in personal property and the as^essor's
records show bis personal property
valued at $10.00, making a difference
of $900.00 at the rate of $1.78 a hun-
dred,.or $1.6.02.

Muehe. Noes: None. Absent: Council-
men: Demmitt and Meier.

one from R. Mc^uiston were read re-
questing the authorit-: to renew Com-

The Clerk called the attention of the Cite Council to
the fact that Resolution of Intention No. 1192, in the
matter of the proposed improvement of certain portions
of Orange Avenue and certain other streets and avenues in
the Cit717 of Azusa, had been regularly pu.!Iished, and that
the notices required by la,r have been given, and that this
hour, 7.:30 O'clock, P. 11% in the Council Chamber of the
City Council in the City Flail of the City of A-_usa was the
time and place set for hearing objections.
Pro -Tem.
The Mayor/then inquired if any written objections had been
filed with the Clerk. She reported that no written protests
or objections had been filed.
Councilman Mace introduced a resolution entitled, "A Res-
olution of the City Council of the City of Azusa ordering
the improvement of certain portions of Orange Avenue and
certain other streets and Avenues within said City".
Councilman Johnson moved its adoption, which was seconded
by Councilman I:iace, and upon roll call the said resolution
was adopted by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Johns -n, Mace, Iluehe.
NOES: None.
RESENT: Councilmen: Demmitt and I'+Ieier.
Councilman Mace introduced a resolution entitled, " A
Resolution of the City Council of the City of Azusa clirect-
ing certain wor',1- or improvement, as contemplated by Re-
solution of Intention No. 1192, to he done under the direction
of the City Engineer of said Citv ". Councilman Johnson
Moved the adoption, ...hich was seconded by Co1LnciA pan Mace,
and upon roll call the said resolution was adonted by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Johnson, Mace, Muehe.
NOES: Councilmen: Alone.
