ORDINANCE N0. 508
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 501 PASSED AND
ADOPTED THE 7th DAY OF MAY, 1956.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 501, passed and adopted the 7th
day of May, 1956s is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new
Section 3.1 reading as follows:
"Section 3.1. The provisions of this ordinance shall not
apply to any residential buildings or construction or to any
residential use on Lot 36 of Tract No. 13790 located at 926
West Foothill Boulevard in the City of Azusa so long as such
residential buildings, construction or use are in compliance

'ZrV SECT ON 2. T ordinance is ier� declare to be neces-
sary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety and shall take effect immediately upon its passage. The facts
constituting its urgency are partly set forth in said Ordinance No.
501 and are partly stated as follows: That the restrictions contained
in said ordinance are so strict as to raise a question of possible
unconstitutionality as applied to the property above described and
that to avoid said restrictions being held unconstitutional, the
above exception must be granted.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk.shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
