Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. The monthly report of the Los Angeles County Health Department was presented. The minutes of the last regular meeting of June 2, 1930 was read and approved as read. ' The City Clerk called attention of the City Council to the fact that this is the time and place fixed for the hearing objections in the matter of confirming the assessment upon Foothill Boulevard and certain portions of other streets and avenues provided by Resolution of Intention No. 1158. The Mayor then inquired if any written objections had been filed with the Clerk. She reported that written objection had been filed. The Mayor then No protests filed inquired if there was anyone present who on Foothill Blvd. desired to protest or object to said assessment, and no one responded, whereupon Councilman Johnson offered a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA CONFIRMING THE ASSESSME11T FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF FOOTHILL BOULEVARD RESOLUTION #1215 AND CERTAIN PORTIONS OF OTHER STREETS ADOPTED AND AVENUES WITHIN SAID CITY. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by ' Councilman Mace that this resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1215.
