The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place. Present at roll call:
Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams,
Muehe, Meier, City Attorney. Absent:
City Clerk.
Owing to the absence from the City of
Mrs. Hynes, City Clerk, upon motion by
Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman
Williams that Councilman Muehe be appointed
to act as Clerk of the meeting. Carried
' by the follo,sing vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson,
Williams, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None.
Absent: None.

as read.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by
Councilman Williams that the report
of the County Health Denartment be
read and ordered placed on file.
J. R. Pinkstaff's request for a two
weeks vacation was read. Moved by
Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman
Williams that t!,is vacation be granted
with pay. Carried by the following vote
of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier.
Noes: Nones. Absent: None.

An application for position of Police
Officer to fill the vacancy of Ed. Hurt
was offered by L. V. Rhodes. Moved
and carried that same be refered to the
Committee -of Police and Sanitation, with
power to act. Carried by the following
vote of the Council:. Ayes: Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, "Williams, Muehe, Meier.
Noes: None. Absent: None.
