Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Muehe, Meir. City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman: Williams. The League of California Municipalities Bulletin No. 13 was read and ordered placed on file. Councilman I^lilliams entered the meeting and took his seat. The monthly report of the Los Angeles County Health Department was presented. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman Mace that same be placed on file. Councilman Pduehe offered an Ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REGULATING TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS AND REVEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT H RFNITH. to be placed upon its second and final reading. This ordinance was then read for the second time. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Mace that this ordinance be adopted as read and numbered ordinance No. 292. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes- Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. Councilman Muehe offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF TIL CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PRO` VIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF FIVE TTTOIJSA14D ' ($5000.00) DOLLARS FROM THE ELECTRIC FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND. Moved by Councilman Place, seconded by Councilman Muehe that this resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1242. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams. Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. Councilman Mace offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPOTNTING LEE V. RHODES SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER OF THE CIT`.t OF 367 Matter of removing weeds referred to St. Superintendent. Communication filed. Councilman Williams Entered. Report of Los Angeles County Health Dept. Ordered filed. ORDINANCE NO. 292 ADOPTED. RESOLUTION NO. 1242 ADOPTED. RESOLUTTOK NO. 1243 ADOPTED. The minutes of the last regular meeting of November 3, 1930 were read and approved as read. A communication signed by R. B. Lucky, President of the Azusa Chamber of Commerce, -as read. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman Mace that the matter of removing weeds from side of Boulevard near ':",est City Limits be referred to The Street Superintendent, with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Pluehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman: 1.1`illiams. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Johnson that the request of Community Hall. the Canyon City Post No. 180, American rented to American Legion, for rental of the Community Hall, Legion for one dollar be granted, and the rent fixed at one per year. dollar per ,year to take effect December 1, 1930.
