An arplication'by Mrs. John Pinkstaff to act
:ar temporary Janitor was read and
ordered placed on file.
A petition containing five names and
representing property on Foothill
Boulevard requesting, the City Council
to extend the business zona west
on Foothill Boulevard from Sunset
Avenue to Lemon Avenue, was presented.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded
by Councilman Muehe that this petition
be referred to the Planning Commission.
Councilman Muehe offered a Resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COiTNC.IL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA APPOINTING HARRY
FRANKLIN TO THE OFFICE; OF ASSISTANT
' PARK SUPERINTENDENT OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA, AND FIXING HIS SALARY.
Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded
by Councilman Mace that this resolution
be adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1255. Carried by the following
vote of the Council: Ayes:'Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier.
Noes: Prone. Absent: None.

The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session a t the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, ';"Williams, Muehe, Meier,
City Attorney and City Clerk.
The minutes of the last regular meeting
of January 19, 1931 were read and
approved as read.

Councilman Muehe reported that J.
S. Armstrong & Son could furnish a
policy insuring the lighting posts
in the Vosburg Tract, cheaper than
any other Company and advised the
Council to insure the posts with them.
A communication from the League of
California Muni_cipnlities was read.

'A communication concerning the fluid
milk situation in Southern California
was read and referred to City Attorney.
Moved by Councilman Iaiuehe, seconded
by Councilman Mace that the contract
to furnish the City with large incan-
descent Mazda Lamas be referred to the
Purchasing Committee with power to
act. Carried by the following vote
of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe. Meier.
