Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of March 16, 1931 were read and approved as read. The request of Thomas A. Smith to ' rewrite policy No. 4348 was read. T. A. Smith's request re - Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded ferred to Purchasing by Councilman J„hnson that same be Committee with power to referred to the Audit & Finance act. Committee with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, V9ill.iams, Tduehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. A communication written by City Attorney Tscharner and Addressed Communication filed. to Thomas Berkebile, was read and ordered placed on file. A communicationfrom State Compensation Insurance Fund was read and ordered Communication filed. placed on file. An application made by MacDonald Bonner for position as manager at Slouson Memorial Plunge was read. Application referred to Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded Councilman Johnson. by Councilman Mace that same be re- ferred to Councilman Johnson, chair- man of Public 17orks Committee. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. A petition containing twenty-one names requesting the City Council Petition to rescind park - to rescind Ordinance No. 292 ing ordinance referred to limiting the parking time, on Azusa Council as a Committee of Avenue, was presented. the whole. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Muehe that this matter be referred to the City Council as a Committee of the ;`thole, with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes:' Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. A new contract between the Consolidated Rock Products Company and the City of Azusa, was presented. Moved by Mayor City Clerk' Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman: authorized to sign Johnson that same be referred to the contract. Purchasing Committee, with power to act. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, l'tilliams, Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent None. Moved by Councilman IvInehe, seconded by Councilman Johnson that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign an agreement between the City of Azusa and the Line -O -lite Company, cover- Mayor & City Clerk ing purchase, installation and service authorized to sign on Neon Sig -,n to be erected on Foothill contract.
