The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace,
Johnson, Williams, Tduehe, Meier, City
Attorney and City Clerk.
The minutes of the last regular meting
of June 1, 1931 were read and approved
as read.
The monthly report of the Los Angeles
County Health Depnrtment was presented.
Moved and carried that same be accepted
and placed on file.
A communication from the F. C. Collins,
Secretary for the San Gabriel Vnlley
Protective Association, rel,etive to a
meeting to be held Junes 18, 1931, was
read. Moved and carried that the City
Attorney represent the City of Azusa
at this meeting.
A card expressing the appreciation of
Mrs. Case and family was read and ordered
placed on file.
A communication from Mr. Escobar asking
damages in the extent of 1117.10 for his
car, having backed same into a fire plug
on Foothill Boulevard, was read. Moved
by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman
Johnson that Mr. Escobar's letter be
referred to the City Attorney.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace,
Johnson, ",il.liams, T.Tuehe, Meier. Noes:
None. Absent: None.

The 8ity Attorney reported that he had City Attorney reported
written the Associated Advertisers and on associated advertiser
had.' received an indefinate reply.
Moved and carried that this communication
be placed on file.

and City Clerk be authorized to sign
a contract with the Standard Oil Company*
for one years supply of gasoline. Carried
by the foliowinr, vote of the Cnuncil:

Councilman Johnson, Chairman of Police
and Sanitation Committee reported that C. C. Rimbrell granted

& Finance Committee, reported that the Councilman Muehe re-

by Councilman Johnson that Jack Pierce,
Superintendent of Light and '-Nater De-
partment, be authorized to furnish informa-
tion to the Snn Gabriel Valley Protective
Associai;ion, regarding the City of Azusa
wells. This data to be used in the case
of the San Gabriel Valley Protective
Superintendent Light
& Aater Dept. authoriz

endeavoring to prevent the City of Pasadena
constructing a dam in the Pine Canyon
Dam Site. Carried by the following vote

Councilman Muehe offered a resolution
entitled:

FOR THE TRANSFER OF FOUR 'TIIOUSAND DOLLARS
(49000.00) FROM THE ELECTRIC LIGHT FUND
TO THE GENERAL FUND.

by Councilman Johnson that this resolution
be adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1265. Carried by the following
