Present at roll call: Councilmen:, Johnson, Plillioms, 1yiuehe, Meier, City Attorney & City Clerk. Absent: Councilman Mace.- The minutes of the last regular meet- ing of November•16, 1931 was read and approved as read. %__- The matter of a purchase of a dump truck for the street department was presented. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman Johnson that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign aicon- tract between the City of Azusa and 111. E. Kain-for the purchase of some. Carried by the following Vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Johnson, "lilliams, Muehe, Meier. Noe•s•:None. Absent;,TcCouncilman Mace. The monthly -enort of the Los Angeles Health Department was presented and ordered placed on file. A communication from the National Conference in City Planning was read relative to the appointment of a member of the City Council to serve on the State -aide Committee. Mayor Meier appointed Council Muehe to act in this capacity. A communication from H. G. Mathewson, Secretary for the Railroad Commision of the State -of California regarding public hearing on railroad crossings to be held January 129 1932. Moved and carried that same be placed on file'. Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman Williams that the City Clerk be authorized tb draw a warrant in favor of City Treasurer in payment of Street Assessment on Municipally owned property. Carried by the follow- ing vote of the Council: Ayes: Council- man Johnson, !:lilliams, Muehe, Meier. Noes:- Np,ne. Absent, Councilmen: Mace. A request'for a two weeks vacation made by Lee V. Rhodes was read. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Muehe that same be granted with pay. 1. The matter of the lease between the City of Azusa and the American Legion Canyon City Post No. 180. was p^esented. Mayor &.
