Present at roll call: Couhcilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Meier; City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman'Muehe. The minutes of the last regular meeting of March 7th and the Special Session of March 140 1932 were read and approved as read. The monthly report of the Los Angeles County Health Department was presented and ordered placed on file. A resignation offered by H. C. Franklin, Assistant Park Superintendent, was read and ordered placed on file. H. C. Franklin resign- ation read. Three application's presented by John Hibsch, Application filed. Joseph J.,Peterman and H. NorberR were read and ordered placed on file. Councilman Mace offered an ordinance entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDINGr SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 294 OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ENTITLED "AN -ORDINANCE PROVIDING, FOR THE ESTABLISH- MENT IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, OF FOUR ZONES CONSI3TTNG OF VARIOUS DISTRICTS AND PRESCRIBING THE CLASSES"OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND ,IMPROVEMENTS IN THE SAID PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS THEREOF" ADO PTED,�AUGUST 3, 1931, AND BY ADDING THERETO A NEVI SECTION TO BE ENTITLED SECTION 7-A.1 be read for the second time. This'ordinance was then feadtfor�the�decond time. Moved by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Mace that this Ordinance be adopted as read and numbered Ordinance No. 296. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Macey Johnson, Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Muehe. Councilman Mace offered 'a Resolution entitled-' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTTY OF AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE OWNER OF PROPERTY ABUTTING ON MIRA LOMA DRIVE TO IMPROVE SAID ROADWAY UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS. Moved by Councilman Williams, seconded by Councilman Johnson that this resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1286. Carried by the following, vote of the Council: Ayes': Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Muehe. ORDINANCE NO. 296 ADOPTED. RESOLUTION NO. 1286 ADOPTED. Councilman Mace offered a resolution entitled: ' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF,AZ.USA ADOPTING AND APPROVING PLAT AND PLAN RESOLUTION OF THE NORTH ADDITION TO THE CITY PARK OF AZUSA.ADOPTED. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Mace that this resolution be adopted as'read and numbered Resolution No. 1287.- Carried 287.Carried by the following, vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen, Mace, Johnson, Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Muehe. Jack Pierce,,Supgrintendent of Light and Water Department reported on bids for water pipe. Moved by Councilman Mace; seconded by Councilman Johnson that the following bills be allowed and war -ants orderedc'drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
