The City Council of the City of Azusa met,
in regular session at the above time and
place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace,
Johnson, Muehe, Meier. City Attorney and
City Clerk. Absent: Councilman Williams.
The minutes of the last regular meeting of
March 219 1932 were read and.approved as
read.
Accommunication from The Owl Fumigating
Corporation relative to the water supply
needed for the operation of their plant,
was read.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by
Councilman Johnson that same be referred
to the Board of Public Works to report
back at next regular meeting. Carried
by,the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Muehe,
Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Council-
man Williams.
A communication signed by Otto R. Benedict,
Mayor of Huntington Park was read and
ordered placed on file.
Councilman Muehe offered a Resolution
entitled: I
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING DEED TO A PORTION
OF BLOCK 3, TRACT NO., 627 IN AZUSA, CALIF-
ORNIA, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF SAID
CITY AND THE CLERK THEREOF TO DRAY! WARRANT
FOR THE PURCHASE PRICE OF SAID LOT.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded
by Councilman Johnson that this resolution
be adopted as read and numbered Resolution
No. 1288.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace,
Johnson, Muehe, Meier. -Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Williams.
Two applications for work in park, one
signed by John H. Crawford and one by
David H. Clark, were read. Moved by
Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman
Mace and duly carried that same be placed
on file.
A request to operate a billiard hall in
Azusa, by Ben S. Fagan was read. Moved
by Councilman Muehe, seconded by Councilman
Mace that this request be denied. Carried
by the following vote of the"Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Muehe,
Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman
Williams.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded
by Councilman Muehe that the City Clerka
be instructed to sign proxy authorizing
C. A. Griffith to represent the City of
Azusa at the annual',,meeting of the San
Gabriel Valley Protective Association.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen:. Mace, Johnson, Muehe,
Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Councilman
Williams.

Moved by Councilman Muehe, seconded by
Councilman Johnson that the Mayor and City
Clerk be authorized to sign contract between
City of Azusa and General Electric Company.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson,
Muehe, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: Council-
man Williams.
,Councilman Johnson, offered a resolution
' entitled:'
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR
THE TRANSFER OF TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS (10,000.00)
FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND.
Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded•by
Councilman Johnson that this -resolution be
adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1289.
Carried by the following vote of the Council:

(50.00) for same.
