The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular session at the above
time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace
Johnson, Mrrden, Meier; City Attorney,
and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman:
Williams.
The minutes of the last regular meeting
of July ]8, 1932 were read and approved
as read.
Councilman Williams entered the meeting
and took his seat.

The Clerk announced that she had received Bids on Insurance
three bids and one request on the renewal
of Insurance Policy for City Well equip-
ment.
Moved by Councilman Morden,seconded
by Councilman Mace and duly carried
that these bids be now opened, examined
and publicly declared:
VOSBURG BROTHERS INCORPORATED
The policy of the Aetha Insurance Company
on the Azusa Avenue Well pumping equipment.in the amount
of $1,300.00 expires August 12, 1932. We will write
this insurance for a'term of three.years at a premium
of $26.00.
We respectfully solicit this business.

Gentlemen:
On August 12th, 1932 the Fire Insurance
covering plant and equipment on pump located'on the
west 70 ft of Lot 4 Tract 627 well expires.
If the same coverage for $1300.00 is renewed
the rate would be $2.00 per 100 for 3 years, or $26.00
premium. .

A motion was made and carried to In-
struct the City Clerk to inform Mr.
Brown, that in the Councils opinion,
the rubbish was being cared for
satisfactorily at the present time.

California Municipalities relative
to three meetings to be held in Santa
Ana -San Jose and Sacramento during the
month of August -was read.

Angeles County -Welfare Department have
accepted full responsibility for
County Employees Insurance, when work -
Ing on Azusa projects.
