M. 175 The City Council of the City of Azusa met in the regular session at the above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last rerular meeting of September 6, 1932 were read and approved as read. A -note expressing the appreciation of Communication ordered Arthur Wolfe and his family was read placed on file. and ordered placed on file. Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman Mace that L. F. Wray be L. F. Wray granted vaca- granted a~two weeks vacation with pay tion. and the matter of securing someone to re- place Mr. Wray during his vacation be referred to Councilman Mace, Carried by the following vote of the Council - Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier, Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by -Councilman Morden that the City Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant City Clerk instructed in favor of the League of California to draw a warrant in Municipalities in the sum of $22.509 the sum of $22.50. in payment of second half of annual dues. Made payable to League Carried by the following vote of the of California Municipali- Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, ties. Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. ' The monthly report of the Los Angeles Monthly report ordered County Health Department was presented f1led. and ordered placed on file. Mr. Brubaker requested the return of a Grant Deed given the City of Azusa, Matter of Grant deed August 7, 1925. A motion was made and for M. Brubaker referred carried that this matter be referred to to City Attorney. the City Attorney. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Morden that the City Clerk be instructed to draw a warrant made payable to self in the sum of $300.00 covering three of the Councilman's expenses while attending the League of California Municipalities convention in San Diego, September 26th to 29th. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier, Noes: None. Absent: None. City Clerk instructed to draw warrant in the sum of $300.00 to pay Councilmen's expenses at Convention. Councilman Morden offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -,OF AZUSA REQUESTING LOS ANGELES COUNTY, A MUICIPAL CORPORATION IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO SUPPLY FUNDS TO PAY THE LABOR FOR'IMPROVING THIRD STREET IN THE CITY OF AZUSA, BETWEEN BARBARA AVENUE AND ANGELENO AVENUE. Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman Mace that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolution No. 1314.
