Pbesent at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. Councilman Morden offered a Resolution entitled: This Resolution was not adopted. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Williams that this Resolu- tion be.adopted.as read and_nuinbared Resolution No: 1331. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilman Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None: Councilman,Morden offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA REQUESTING LOS ANGELES' COUNTY, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION IN Tilt STATE OF CALIFORNIA, TO SUPPLY FUNDS TO THE CITY .OF AZUSA FOR THE PURPOSE OF' PAYING FOR MATERIAL AND TRUCK HIRE IN THE•IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF,CERTAIN STREETS IN SAID CITY OF AZUSA. ' A commiaication'from the Canyon City Post N0.180.:American Legion, re- questing the -City Council to grant this organization permission to hold a six,day carnival in Azusa and authorizing the exemption of license, fee, water and electricity was read. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Johnson that same be placed on file. A communication from the Owl Fumigat- ing Corporation, requesk�ng sufficient water supply to carry/t eir work during the coming fumigating season was read. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Morden and duly carried that the City'Clerk be instructed'to write Mr. RoMan informing him that this'matter had been referred to the.
