The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular adjourned session at the
above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace,
Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier, City
Attorney and City Clerk.
Five applications to sell light wines
and beer, accompanied by a $5.00 filing
fee, were filed by the following:
Fred W. Raab --J. C. Muehe--R. C. Arnold --
.Floyd Herron --C. A. Nelson.
Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded
by Councilman Mace that same be placed
on file. Carried by the following vote
of the Council:' Ayes: Councilmen:
Mace, Johnson, Morden, Williams, Meier.
Noes; None. Absent: None.
The matter of accepting bonds in pay
mento according to an agreement entered
into between the City of Azusa and Mr.
Scott, was presented. Moved by Coun-
cilman Mace, seconded by Councilman
Morden that this matter be referred to
the City Attorney. Carried by the
following vote of the Council: Ayes:
Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden,
Williams, Meier. Noes: None. Absent:
None.
The City Attorney gave a verbal re
port on the licensing of light wines
and beer.
Applications to sell
beer filed.
Matter.of accepting
bonds referred to
City -Attorney.
City Attorney gave
report.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by
' Councilman Williams, that the City Executative_session
Council go into executative-session for
thirty minutes.
Immediately thereafter the meeting
was resumed.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded
by Councilman Mace that.the City Attorney
instructed to draw a regularatory
ordinance regulating the sale of beer
in the City of Azusa. Carried by the
following vote of,the Council:
Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson,
Morden, Williams, Meier. Noes: None.
Absent: None.
Moved by Councilman Johnson,'seconded
by Councilman Mace and duly carried
that the Council adjourn to meet Tuesday,
April 11th, at 7:30 P.M.
