The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular adjourned session -at the
above time -and place.
Present at roll call: Councilman:
Mace,Johnson, Morden, City Attornay
and City Clerk. Absent: Councilman:
Williams and Meier.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded
by Councilman Johnson that Councilman
Mace act as president pro tem in the
' absence of the president. Carried
by the following vote of the Council:
Ayes: Councilman Johnson, Morden,
Noes: .None. Absent: Councilmen:
Williams, Meier. Councilman Mace not
voting.
Councilman Johnson offered a resolution
entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE'CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF AZUSA CREATING A STREET
IMPROVEMENT RELIEF FUND AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN WARRANTS
WHICH HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL, DRAWN ON SAID FUND.
Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded
by Councilman Johnson that this resolu-
tion be adopted as read and numbered
Resolution No. 1341. Carried by the
following vote of the Council: Ayes:
Councilman Johnson, Morden, Mace, Noes:
None. Absent: Councilman Williams and
Meier.
Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded
' by Councilman Morden that the Azusa
City Schools be granted permission to
use the Slauson,Memorial Plunge from
May 1st to Jun& 15th; the school to
assume all responsibility and expense
in connection with the operation thereof.
Carried by the following vote of the
Council: Ayes: Councilman Johnson,
Morden, Mace, Noes:_ None. Absent:
Councilmen: Williamd, Meier.
Moved by Councilman_Johnson, seconded
by Councilman Moriden and duly carried
that the Council adjourn to meet Monday
April 24th at 7:00 P. M.
