The City Council of the City of Azusa
met in regular adjourned session -at the
above time and place.
Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace,
Morden, Williams, Meier, City Attorney and
City Clerk. Absent: Councilman Johnson.
Councilman Morden offered an Ordinance
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF AZUSA DEFINING AND PROHIBITINGETHE
SALE, MANUFACTURE, TRANSPORTATION OR UNLAWFUL
POSSESSION OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS; DEFINING
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AND PROVIDING FOR THE
ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO THOSETO WHOM
LICENSES MAY OR DO ISSUE, PRESCRIBING RE-
GULATIONS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; PROVID-
ING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION HEREOF AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH
THIS ORDINANCE.

This Ordinance was then read for the second
time..
Moved,by Councilman Morden, seconded by
Councilman Mace that this Ordinance be
adopted as read and numbered Orcinance,No.
299. Carried by -the following vote of
the Council: Ayes:`lCouncilmen: Mace,
Morden, Williams, Meier,. Noes: None.
Absent:F Councilman Johnson.

Councilman Williams that the following
bills be allowed and warrants.ordered
drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
Carried by the following vote of the Bills

Morden, Williams, Meier. Noes: None.
Absent: Councilman Johnson.

by Councilman Williams that the Council
adjourn to meet again, Monday, May 8, Adjournment.
