The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular session at.the.above time and place. Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Calvert, Johnson, Morden, Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. The monthly report of the Los Angeles County Health Department was --read and ordered placed on -file. 'councilman -Johnson offered a resolution_ entitled: , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU??CIL OF THE CITY,O,F AZUSA TRANSFERRING THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) -FROM THE STREET IMPROVE- MENT RELIEF FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND. ' Moved by Councilman Calvert, seconded by Councilman Mace that this resolution be adopted as read.and numbered Resolution No. 1372. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Calvert, Johnson, Morden, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. Councilman Morden offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF AZUSA TRANSFERRING FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS•($5,000.00) FROM THE LIGHT FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman Calvert that this resolution be adopted'as read and numbered Resolution No. 1373. Carried by the following vote ' of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Calvert, Johnson Morden, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: hone. Moved by Councilman Morden,seconded by Councilman -Mace that the City Clerk be authorized:to renew liability policy for Light & Water Departments. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Calvert, Johnson, Morden, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Morden, seconded by Councilman Calvert that the City Clerk be authorized to renew policy on Lighting Standards in Tract 8161, with J. S. Arm- strong and`Son. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, -Calvert, Johnson, Morden, Meier. Noes:, None. Absent- None. Councilman Calvert offered a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNC M OF THE CITY•OF•AZUSA AUTHORIZING THE LIGHT AND POWER -DEPARTMENT OF SAID CITY TO WIRE FOR ELECTRICAL'RANGES AND ALLOW CERTAIN AMOUNT OF COSTS -SOF SUCH WIRING AND CONNECTIONS -IN ORDER,TO-INCREASE THE USE OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY. Moved by Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Mace that this resolution be ad- opted -as read and numbered Resolution No. 1374: Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Calvert, Johnson, Morden, Meier. Noes: None. Absent: None. Moved by Councilman Calvert, seconded by Councilman'Morden that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon 405, RESOLUTION NO. 1372 ADOPTED.
