Present at roll call: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson, Morden; Meier, City Attorney and City Clerk. The minutes of the last regular meeting of Minutes approved February 5, 1934, were read and approved as read. The monthly report of the Los Angeles County Monthly report filed. Health Department was presented and ordered placdd on file. Applications -to erect signs, presented by J. N. Marquis and Paul L. Bratton, were read. Moved by Councilman "Morden, seconded by Councilman Mace that same be referred to the Street Superintendent with power to act. . A communication signed by W. W. Bentley, offering a certain piece of land for sewage disposal Plant site, was read. Moved by . Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Mace that same be referred to City Engineer to report back at next regular meeting. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Mace, Johnson -Virden, Meier. Noes: None. Absent-, None. Two contracts, for the City's supply of incandescent lamps, were presented by Morgan' -Hardware and Calvert Electric Shop. Moved by Councilman Mace, seconded by Councilman,Johnson that same be referred to Superintendent Jack Pierce, with power to act.
