HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 49230 0 RESOLUTION NO. 4923 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF-AZUSA ACCEPTING A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Western American Development Corporation under date of 15th day of October 1965 , granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual easement and right of way for public purposes for sewer purposes in, on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY. OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit: That portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 1 South Range 10 West. S.B.B.M., in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, according to the official plat of said land filed in the District Land Office on October 31, 1873, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Westerly Line of Tract No. 19685, as per map recorded in Book 505 Pages 8 to 14 inclusive of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, with the northerly line of the Southerly 122.00 feet of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of said Section 2; thence along said Northerly line North 89' 54' 53" West 300.00 feet to a line parallel with and distant westerly 300.00 feet, measured at right angles from said Westerly line of said Tract No. 19685; thence along said parallel line, North 0° 01' 48" East 312.25 feet to the most Northerly Northwest corner of the land conveyed to Western American Development Corporation, by deed re- corded on May 14, 1963 as Instrument No. 5183, in Book D-2028 Page 511 of Official Records, records of said County; thence along the most Northerly line of said land conveyed by said deed, south 89° 35' 12" East 300.01 feet to said Westerly line of said Tract No. 19685; thence along said Westerly line South 0° 01' 48" West 310.53 feet to the point of beginning. Also known as 655 Donna Beth Avenue, City of Azusa. The westerly 5.00 feet of the above described property, and the southerly 12.00 feet of the above described property. Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause the some to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County. SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. Adopted and approved this ist day of November 1965 Mayor of the City Azusa I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 1st day of November, 1965 , by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None
