RESOLUTION NO. 4915
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA APPROVING THE SERVING OF WATER OUTSIDE THE
CITY LIMITS TO IRWINDALE RACEWAY AND TO A CERTAIN
AREA WITHIN THE CITY OF IRWINDALE.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Receipt of a letter agreement from Irwindale
Raceway dated October 7, 1965 is hereby acknowledged, and in reliance
upon the agreements therein contained and in consideration therefor, it
is hereby ordered that the Water Department of the City of Azusa shall
serve water to said Irwindale Raceway subject to the compliance with
the provisions of said letter and to the rates, rules and regulations
of the City of Azusa now in effect and as they may be changed or amended
from time to time.
SECTION 2. Receipt of Resolution No. 65-29-573 of the City
Council of the City of Irwindale is hereby acknowledged giving per-
mission to the City of Azusa to serve water within that portion of the
City of Irwindale described as follows:
Those portions of Sections 28, 32 and 33, Township 1,
North Range 10 West S.B.B.M. within the city limits
of the City of Irwindale, as the same existed on
October 5th, 1965, and lying easterly of the North-
westerly prolongation of the centerline of San
Gabriel River, 500 feet wide, as deeded to the
County of Los Angeles as document Number 3297 on
August 13, 1956;
and giving the City of Azusa permission to use the public streets within
said area for the purpose of serving water therein. In reliance upon said
resolution and in consideration therefor, it is hereby ordered that the
Water Department of the City of Azusa shall serve water to those desiring
such service within said area, subject to the rates, rules and regulations
of the Azusa Water Department now in effect and as they may be changed
or amended from time to time.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution and shall transmit certified copies thereof to the City
of Irwindale and to Irwindale Raceway.

Honorable City Council and City Administrator:
City of Azusa, California
Subject: Serving Water to Irwindale Raceway
Gentlemen:
During your council meeting of October 4, 1965, certain conditions
were attached to the granting of the above subject. The City of .
Irwindale adopted a resolution at their council meeting of October
5th. agreeing with the conditions effecting that city and a copy
of which you now have.
The Irwindale Raceway agrees to the remainder of the conditions as
follows:
1. Irwindale Raceway will install and maintain an adequate
buffer to muffle the sound along our eastern line, sujbect to the
approval of the City Engineer and the Planning Director of the
City of Azusa.
2. Irwindale Raceway will make all necessary waterline exten-
sions and connections at our expense, to serve our needs.
3. Irwindale Raceway will negotiate with the City of Azusa
for the employment of City of Azusa police officers during peak
periods of traffic during race meets.

RESOLUTION N0, 65-29-573
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IRWINDALE GRANTING CONSENT TO THE CITY OF
AZUSA TO SERVE WATER TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES
WITHIN THE CITY OF IRWINDALE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to the request of the City
of Azusa, consent is hereby granted to the City of Azusa to use
certain public streets within the City of Irwindale so as to
serve certain properties, hereinafter described, in the City of
Irwindale, with domestic water. Said consent relates to that
certain area within said City, generally described as lying
Northerly of First Street, and Easterly of the centerline of the
San Gabriel River, more particularly described on Exhibit "A"
attached hEreto and incorporated herein by this reference.
SECTION 2. That the foregoing consent shall not be
deemed to be a waiver of any provision of the Irwindale Municipal
Code, including, but not limited to the zoning regulations thereof,
nor shall the foregoing be deemed to be the grant of a franchise.
SECTION �3Q�1ehat the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this F ;[�aad cause the same to be published in
the manner prescribed by law.
