HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 49050 0 RESOLUTION NO. 4905 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA PROHIBITING PARKING ON VERNON AVENUE FROM FOOTHILL BOULEVARD TO THE PACIFIC ELECTRIC RIGHT OF WAY AND DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO INSTALL THE PROPER SIGNS OR CURB MARKINGS. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The stopping, standing or parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on both sides of Vernon Avenue from Foothill Boulevard to the Pacific Electric right of way. SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 3200.36 of the Azusa Municipal Code, the Chief of Police is authorized and directed to place signs or curb markings along both sides of said portion of Vernon Avenue to indicate that no parking is permitted thereon. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution. Adopted and approved this 20th day of September, 1965. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 20th day of September , 1965, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT:Councilmen: McLees
