RESOLUTION NO. 4887
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA FINDING AND DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY PROTEST
HAS NOT BEEN MADE AGAINST EASTERLY ANNEXATION
DISTRICT NO. 64.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Azusa does
hereby find and declare that on July 6, 1965, Resolution NO. 4873
was duly adopted by the City Council initiating proceedings for the
annexation to the City of Azusa of certain uninhabited territory
therein described and designated as Easterly Annexation District
No. 64, and fixing the 16th day of August, 1965, as the date for the
hearing thereon; that proper notice of said proceedings and said
hearing was duly given and published; and said hearing was duly held
and finally adjourned on August 16, 1965; that a majority protest was
not made or presented against said proposed annexation; and that ten
days have not elapsed after the said hearing.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 16th day of August , 1965.

thereof held on the 16th day of August , 19652 by the following
vote of the Council:
