Home My WebLink AboutResolution No. 4885RESOLUTION NO. 4885 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT OF THE CITY RELATIVE TO THE ABATEMENT OF WEEDS AS PRO- VIDED IN SECTION 39560 THROUGH AND INCLUDING SECTION 39587 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Azusa on or about the 17th of May, 1965, adopted Resolution 4845 declaring weeds, rubbish and dirt upon parkways, sidewalks or private property in the City of Azusa to be a public nuisance and therein fixed a date for hearing objections to be held on the 7th day of June, 1965, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the City Auditorium, City of Azusa; and WHEREAS, there were no objections filed at said time or place either orally or in writing; and WHEREAS, the provisions of law hereinbefore referred to have been in all respects complied with and fulfilled; and WHEREAS, a copy of the report listing by lot the indi- vidual costs of lots referred to in said Resolution No. 4845 of the City of Azusa has been posted as required by law, and WHEREAS, no objections have been filed either orally or written by any property owners liable to be assessed for the abatement. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: 1. That the report of the Street SUper'.im6--ndentshowing the cost of said abatement per lot and which report has been filed in the office of the City Clerk be and the same is hereby confirmed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of said report be filed with the County Auditor of Los Angeles County on or before the 10th day of August, 1965, so that said assessment may be entered on the County Tax Roll opposite the parcels of lands described in said report.
