RESOLUTION NO. 4879
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ACCEPTING
A CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT AND DIRECTING THE RECORDING THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 That certain Grant of Easement executed by Builders Mortgage Company,
a corp.,
under date of 9th day of July 1965, granting to the CITY OF AZUSA, a Municipal
Corporation in Los Angeles County, California, its successors and assigns, the right to perpetual
easement and right of way for public purposes for roadway purposes
in; -on, over, under, across and along the following described real property situate in the CITY.
OF AZUSA, Los Angeles County, State of California to wit:
That portion of the northeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of Section 36, Township 1 North, Range 10
West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian as filed in the United States Government District Land
Office on April 16, 1876, located in the County of Los Angeles, State of California, described
as follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of the northeast 1/4 of the southwest 1/4 of
Section 36, said northeast corner also being the intersection of the centerline of
Ban Lomond Avenue (of varying width) and the centerline of Alosta Avenue (100 feet
wide) as they existed on June 23, 1965; thence S 01 06' 10" E along the centerline
of Ben Lomond Avenue 50.00 feet; thence S 89' 47' 15" W20.00 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence S 0° 06' 10" E 276.97 feet; thence S 89' 47' 15" W 20.00 feet;
thence N 0° 06' 10" W 251.92 feet to a tangent curve concave to the southwest having
a radius of 25.00 feet; thence northwest along said curve through a central angle of
90° 06' 35" for an arc distance of 39.31 feet to a point of tangency on the southerly
line of Alosta Avenue; thence N 890 47' 15" E along said southerly line 45.00 feet
to the true point of beginning.
Said Grant of Easement is hereby accepted, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause the same to be filed for record in the office of the County Records of said County.
SECTION 2 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
