A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN PROJECT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET LIGHTS CAN BE PERFORMED
MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR AND THE MATERIALS
AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED AT A LOWER PRICE IN THE OPEN
MARKET AND ORDERING THE PROJECT DONE IN THE MANNER
STATED.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that notice inviting bids was duly given and published in the manner
provided by law for the construction of Street Lights on Azusa Avenue,
that all bids received were duly opened and declared, and that the
City Council has rejected all bids received.
SECTION 2. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that said project for the construction of said lights -can
be performed more economically by day labor and the material and supplies
therefor furnished at a lower price in the open market.
SECTION 3. It is hereby ordered that said project be done
by day labor and the materials and supplies obtained in the open market
without further compliance with Chapter 6, Part 2, Division 3, Title 4
of the Government Code.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
Adopted and approved this 3rd day of May, 1965.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 3rd day of May, 1965, by the following vote of the
Council:
AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer
NOES: Councilmen: None
ABSENT:Councilmen: None
