CITY HALL AZUSA, CALIFORNIA MONDAY, MAY 16, 1966 7:30 P.M.
STUDENT GOVERNMENT DAY - GLADSTONE HIGH SCHOOL
The City Council of the City of Azusa met in regular
session at above time and place.
Mayor Memmesheimer called the meeting to order and led Call to Order
in the salute to the flag.
Invocation was given by Reverend Nickum of Azusa Invocation
Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Present at Roll Call: Councilmem: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, Roll Call

Also Present: City Attorney Williams, City Engineer
Sandwick, Superintendent of Light & Water
Smith, City Clerk Miller.
Mr. R. Pucci, Director of Student Activities, introduced Students
students representing Council Members & Department Heads. introduced
Mayor extended greetings to all students present,
including those from Center School & Baldwin Park Evening
High School.
Approval of Council Actions - Meeting of May 2, 1966
Presentation of Resolution and Plaque to James A. Moran,
former member of the Planning Commission.
Councilman Solem presented Resolution 5023 and Plaque to
Mr. Moran, on request of Mayor. Councilman Solem & Mayor
Memmesheimer congratulated Mr Moran for his good work on
the Planning Commission, and extended their regrets upon
his leaving.

Assn., effective with -in 60 days, due to inauguration of
