HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 49810 0 RESOLUTION NO. 4981 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA COMMENDING JAMES F. ARKISON. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: WHEREAS, James F. Arkison has tendered his resignation from the City Planning Commission for reasons incident to his professional employment; and WHEREAS, the Azusa City Council accepts this resignation with reluctance and regret, being fully aware of the considerable value of the cumulative experience gained by Mr. Arkison since his appointment to the Planning Commission on October 20, 1958; and WHEREAS, the City Council has noted with appreciation the highly conscientious manner with which Mr. Arkison has most assiduously rendered his service on the City Planning Commission for more than seven years. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Azusa City Council, on behalf of all of the people of the City of Azusa, hereby records its genuine gratitude to James F. Arkison for his valuable contribution to the solution of many problems, often difficult and trying, dealt with during his long tenure; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and transmit a certified copy thereof to -Mr. Arkison. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st day of February, 1966. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of February, 1966, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None
