HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4980RESOLUTION NO. 4980 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA DECLARING THAT A CERTAIN PROJECT FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLING UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN TRACT NO. 25309 CAN BE PERFORMED MORE ECONOMICALLY BY DAY LABOR AND THE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES FURNISHED AT A LOWER PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKET AND ORDERING THE PROJECT DONE IN THE MANNER STATED. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine that notice inviting bids was duly given and published in the manner provided By law for furnishing and installing underground electric distribution system in Tract No. 2$309, that all bids received were duly opened and declared, and that the City Council has rejected all bids received. SECTION 2, The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that said project for furnishing and installing underground electric distribution system in Tract No. 25309, can be performed more economically by day labor and the material and supplies therefor furnished at a lower price in the open market. SECTION 3. It is hereby ordered that said project be done by day labor and the materials and supplies obtained in the open market without further compliance with Chapter 61 Part 2, Division 3, Title 4 of the Government Code. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of 'this resolution. Adopted and approved this 21st day of February, 1966. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of Azusa at a begular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of February, 1966, by the following vote of the Council: AYES: Councilmen: Rubio, Cooney, Solem, McLees, Memmesheimer NOES: Councilmen: None ABSENT: Councilmen: None
