HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution No. 4974RESOLUTION NO. 4974 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT DEED. The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the real property described in the Grant Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was acquired or for any other municipal pur- poses; that the same should be sold; and the grantees named in said Grant Deed have offered to purchase the same for a fair and reasonable price, which is the best price obtainable. SECTION 2. That the sale of said real property to said grantees for said price is hereby approved. SECTION 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Grant Deed on behalf of the City of Azusa. --� SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and transmit a certified copy thereof to said grantees. Adopted and approved this 7th day of February, 1966. LEE and BARBARA A. LEE, husband and wife, and JOHN DANIEL and FRANCES L. DANIEL, husband and wife, each as to an undivided one-fourth interest, as tenants in common, that certain real property in the City of Azusa.. County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: That portion of Lot 68, Subdivision No. 2, Azusa Land and Water Company, as recorded in Miscellaneous Records, Book 43, Page 94, of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of California, described as follows: Beginning at the most north northeast corner of said Lot 68, said corner also being on the southerly line of Ninth Street, 60 feet wide, as it existed on October 8, 1965, said corner also being the northwest corner of Block 23, Map of Azusa, as recorded in Book 15, Pages 93-96, inclusive, in said Miscellaneous Records; thence South along the westerly line of said Block 23, a distance of 292.50 feet; thence S 890 580 E 66.00 Peet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing S 89° 58' 9.00 feet; thence South 107.50 feet; thence N 8" 581 W 9.00 feet; thence North 107.50 feet to the true point of beginning.
