RESOLUTION NO. 5159
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AZUSA DESIGNATING AND ESTABLISHING TAXATION
DISTRICT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1967-68.
The City Council of the City of Azusa does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. A single taxation district is hereby designated
and established for the City of Azusa for the fiscal year 1967-68,
consisting of the entire City of Azusa as its boundaries existed on
December 20, 1966. Said district shall consist of the area described
in Resolution No. 49400 adopted December 20, 1965, less that portion
thereof detached from the City of Azusa and annexed to the City of
Duarte as a pat of Duarte Annexation Area No. 6 and described as follows:
That portion of the 93.84 acre parcel shown on the map of
the subdivision of the Rancho Azusa de Duarte, in the city
of Azusa, county of Los Angeles, state of California, as
per map recorded in book 6 pages 80 to 82 inclusive of
Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County Recorder
of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly line of
the land described in the deed to Paul B. Hammond, recorded
in book 15947, page 351 of Official Records, of said county,
with the southwesterly boundary of the land designated as
Parcel No. 6, amended, in final order of condemnation
entered in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Case No.
747540, a certified copy of which was recorded in book
D2499, page 930 of said Official Records; thence, along
said southeasterly line, South 58* 36' 00" West 197.04
feet to the westerly line of said 93.84 acre parcel;
thence along said westerly line, North 00 10' 38" East
253.86 feet to a point in said southwesterly boundary of
Parcel 6, said point being on a non -tangent curve, concave
to the northeast and having a radius of 2140.00 feet, a radial
line of said curve to said point bears South 450 06' 36"
West; thence southeasterly along said curve through a
central angle of 60 02' 32" an arc distance of 225.68 feet
to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and shall file a certified copy of this resolution
with the County Assessor and the County Auditor of the County of Los
Angeles and with the State Board of Equalization, together with any
required maps or map, on or before January 1, 1967.

meeting thereof held on the 19th day of December , 1966,
by the following vote of the Council:
