Present at roll call: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden, City Attorney and City Clerk. Absent: Councilmen: Malone, Meier. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING A CERTAIN DEED RECORDED. The minutes of the last regular meeting of June 4, 1934 were read and approved ' as read. An application made by John D. Lund for the office of Building Inspector, was read. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Application ordered Councilman Chester that same be placed on placed on file. file. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilman: Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Meier, Malone. The monthly'report of the Los Angeles County Report of Los Ange- Health Department was presented and ordered les County Health placed on file. Department filed. A petition regarding the water mains on Foothill Boulevard, was presented. Petition presented and referred to the Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by City Attorney Councilman Arnold and duly carried that same be referred to the City Attorney to report back at the next regular meeting. Councilman Chester offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE RESOLUTION No. 1409 CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING A CERTAIN DEED ADOPTED. RECORDED. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Chester that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Rgsolution ' Na. 1409. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None Absent: Councilmen: Malone, Meier. Councilman Arnold offered a Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA ORDERING A CERTAIN DEED RECORDED. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that this Resolution be adopted as read and numbered Resolttion No. 1411. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Malone, Meier. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by Councilman Chester that the City Clerk be instructed to record 'Deed of Partial Reconveyance to Helen E. Casler, a widow.' Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Malone, Meier. Moved by Councilman Arnold, seconded by ' Councilman Chester that the Street Super- intendent, Arthur Wolfe, be instructed and authorized to make the necessary street repairs at the Intermediate School, at the expense of the Azusa School District. Carried by the following vote of the Council: Ayes: Councilmen: Arnold, Chester, Morden. Noes: None. Absent: Councilmen: Malone, Meier. Moved by Councilman Chester, seconded by Councilman Arnold that the following bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn upon the Treasury for the same.
